Return & Refund Policy for BowlsofSound.com

At BowlsofSound.com, we want you to be fully satisfied with your crystal singing bowl purchase. However, due to the fragile nature of our products, all sales are final and no returns or refunds are accepted.

If your crystal singing bowl arrives damaged due to shipping, please contact us within 2 days of delivery with photos of the damage. We will work with the shipping carrier to determine if the damage occurred in transit and file any necessary claims. If the shipping carrier accepts liability for the damage, we will work with you for a repair of the bowl or possible replacement.

We inspect and carefully package all crystal singing bowls prior to shipment to prevent any damage. However, accidents can occasionally happen during shipping. Rest assured we will do everything we can to promptly replace your bowl if it arrives damaged.

Beyond shipping damage claims, BowlsofSound.com does not accept returns or provide refunds.  Listen to the sound samples on each product page to ensure you are choosing a bowl whose tones resonate with you. Please read all product descriptions carefully as well.

Additional Information for Customers in the European Union

As of July 2026:

The following terms apply only to orders shipped to member countries of the European Union ("EU"). These terms supplement our standard store policies and are intended to comply with applicable EU consumer protection laws.

Right of Withdrawal

If your order is delivered to an address within the European Union, you may have the legal right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving your order, without providing a reason.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, please contact us within the 14-day withdrawal period at:

  • A statement that you wish to exercise your right of withdrawal

Returning Your Order

After notifying us that you wish to withdraw from your purchase, you will receive instructions for returning your order.

Unless otherwise required by applicable law:

  • The customer is responsible for arranging and paying all return shipping costs.
  • Returned items should be shipped using a tracked and insured shipping service appropriate for the value of the shipment.
  • Customers are responsible for ensuring returned items are packaged securely to prevent damage during transit.


Original Packaging

We strongly recommend retaining all original packaging, including the shipping carton, foam inserts, and protective materials, until the withdrawal period has expired.

The original packaging has been selected specifically to protect fragile crystal singing bowls during international transportation. Returning products in alternate packaging may significantly increase the risk of shipping damage.


Condition of Returned Items

Customers may inspect and handle products only to the extent necessary to determine their nature, characteristics, and functioning, similar to what would be permitted in a physical retail store.

If a returned item has diminished in value because it has been handled beyond what is necessary for inspection, any refund may be reduced to reflect the actual loss in value, as permitted by applicable law.

Examples may include, but are not limited to:

  • Chips, cracks, scratches, or other physical damage
  • Damage caused during return shipping due to inadequate packaging
  • Excessive wear or use beyond reasonable inspection
  • Missing components or accessories originally included with the product

Each returned item will be individually inspected upon receipt.


Refunds

After we receive and inspect your returned item (or receive satisfactory proof that it has been shipped, where applicable), we will process any refund required under applicable law.

Refunds will be issued using the same payment method used for the original purchase.

Please note that:

  • Return shipping costs are generally the customer's responsibility unless otherwise required by law.
  • Any reduction in the refund due to diminished value will be based on the actual condition of the returned item, as permitted by applicable law.

Shipping Damage During Return

Customers are responsible for packaging returned items appropriately for international transport.

If a returned item arrives damaged due to inadequate packaging or handling during the return shipment, any refund may be reduced to reflect the resulting loss in value, as permitted by applicable law.

Personalized or Custom Products

Products that are custom-made, personalized, or manufactured to a customer's specific requirements may not be eligible for withdrawal rights where an applicable legal exemption applies.

If such an exemption applies, it will be disclosed before your purchase is completed.
