We are Tara Kaur and Joshua, a husband and wife team, living and working in the red rocks of Sedona, Arizona. From the moment we first heard the tones of a crystal singing bowls it changed our lives and now it is our joy and deep honor to share that resonance with you.
Our Journey
We were first introduced to crystal singing bowls in 2015 during our year long Kundalini yoga teacher training. Tara Kaur felt called to three of the crystal singing bowls and it was a profound experience for her. When she brought the bowls home there was a subtle shift but little did we know the trajectory of our lives had changed. A new modality emerged for us, one grounded in vibration and the sound alchemy of crystal.
As Tara Kaur deepened her experience with the singing bowls, she explored implementing sound healing in spas and worked with clients in our home. She realized that these bowls are instruments, crystalline gateways and allies in the process of returning to presence, breath, and balance.
Our Mission
The world today is busy and loud and demands so much of our minds and energy. We believe there’s a profound need for relaxation and moments to unwind. At Bowls of Sound and Sedona Crystal Temple our mission is to offer that kind of sanctuary. We curate, design, and share the highest quality crystal singing bowls on the market so they can become tools for your own healing, your own practice, your own peaceful pause.
Every bowl we offer is treated with reverence. We experience them as beings of light, waiting to find their new home in your life. We are their stewards, keepers and caretakers until they arrive in your hands.
Why We Do What We Do
Our work is from our Hearts and is about creating compassionate connections. It’s about vibration meeting intention: the bowl’s resonance aligning with yours. When the bowl sings, your cells start to sing too. You feel the subtle shifting of energy, the clearing of space, the opening of the heart. We have seen this again and again, whether we are laying out in a yoga class, guiding a sound bath, or working one on one with a practitioner.

Our bowls are sourced from quartz of exceptional purity and many are infused with precious elements adding to the harmonic layers.
Every bowl you see on our site is something we have personally held, felt, and played. We don’t stock generic representations. We offer the exact companion that you will receive.
We stand ready to help. Whether you’re a sound healing practitioner, yoga teacher, meditation facilitator, or simply someone called to the bowls, we offer 1 on 1 Sacred Attunement sessions, free of pressure, to support you in finding the bowls that speaks to you.

We envision a world where people reclaim their capacity for inner stillness by stepping fully into their hearts and their Light it with consciousness and presence. We see sound as a bridge: between the physical and the etheric, between thought and silence, between individual intention and collective consciousness.
Our vision for Bowls of Sound is to hold a space for that bridge. Whether through a single 7 inch handheld bowl for home practice, or a full set of harmonic crystal bowls for your studio, we want to support your intention and your healing.

Our Roots and Where We Are Now
Although our roots are grounded in Sedona, and the red rocks continue to inspire and support our work, our reach is global. We design our own line of bowls Sacred Singing Bowls™. We select the finest crystal, coordinate all elements of manufacturing, tone test each instrument, and send them out into the world with care and intention.
When we began this work it was simply a journey of personal discovery. Over time it evolved into service. Today Bowls of Sound offers over 1000 bowls, a wide selection of fine crystals, and a deep commitment to your journey.
We share these offerings as husband and wife team, a small and heart centered business.
That means that when you email us, when you receive sound healing form us, you’re connecting to real people who hold this work in their hearts. We feel honored by every message, every session, every connection.
