What is a "chakra set"? The C Major scale is commonly used in sound healing practices with crystal singing bowls, with each note—C, D, E, F, G, A, B—often associated with one of the seven main chakras, or energy centers, in the body. For example, the note C is typically linked to the root chakra, D to the sacral, E to the solar plexus, and so on up to B, which is connected to the crown chakra. This system provides a framework for using sound to support relaxation, balance, and meditation. While many people find these tonal connections helpful and deeply resonant, it’s important to understand that this alignment is a theoretical model rather than an exact science. Everyone experiences sound differently, so listeners are encouraged to explore and connect with the tones in ways that feel meaningful and supportive to them personally.
